Les qualifications pour le Grand Prix du Canada se sont terminées avec George Russell en pole position. Ce qui est frappant, c'est que Max Verstappen a réalisé exactement le même temps lors des qualifications. C'est le Britannique qui a revendiqué la pole position. Verstappen devra donc essayer de partir de la P2. L'internet a vu un Sergio Perez défaillant à Montréal, qui n'est pas allé plus loin que la P16.

Perez was not renewed for his on track performances. He was renewed because he sells merchandise, people love him and gives no issues to Max.
